The Nora Lighting NX-615-LED/R2F is a Die-Cast LED Exit Signs with Battery Backup and Self Diagnostic, 6" Red Letters with Double Face. For architectural applications, Nora Lighting offers its low profile, die-cast aluminum LED exit sign with battery backup. Both die-cast faces are brushed to give a simple, yet elegant, effect. In the event of power loss, the LED light sources will remain illuminated at their full light level for 90 minutes. Self Diagnostic feature automatically tests to ensure proper operation.

Red or green letters: which does code require?

It depends on your jurisdiction. National model codes allow either color, but some cities and states require a specific one. Check with your local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ), or match the signs already in the building.

What is the difference between AC only, battery backup and 2-circuit?

Battery backup signs carry their own battery for 90 minutes of operation. AC-only signs have no battery and must be on an emergency-backed circuit. 2-circuit signs take a normal and an emergency feed. The NX-615-LED/R2F is battery backup.

What does self-diagnostic mean?

The unit tests its own battery, charger and LEDs on a schedule and shows a status light when something needs attention, which cuts down on manual monthly testing.

Where can the NX-615-LED/R2F be installed?

It is damp-location listed. Use a Nora vandal-resistant enclosure where one is linked for wet locations.
