Best for

Best for entryways, above consoles, dressers and sideboards, living rooms and bedrooms (TOV: versatile design is perfect for an entryway, living room or bedroom). Center it at eye level (57–65" off the floor) on its own, or 4–8" above a console or dresser about 41–61" wide; place it where it reflects a window or a light source (our guide).

Who this is not for

• Bathrooms and other steamy spots: the rope frame can swell, warp or mildew in humidity (our advice); hang it in a dry room.
• Outdoor use: this is an indoor mirror; keep it out of rain, damp and strong direct sun.
• Anyone who needs it within days: it is currently on pre-order.

Why we carry it

We've been curating design-led furniture and decor since 2009, and TOV Furniture earns its place with mirrors in handmade frames like rattan, abaca, raffia, rope, carved wood and ribbed fiberglass, with published glass sizes and hanging details so you know what you are getting. We are an authorized TOV seller, and every option listed here carries TOV's own item number and UPC, so you can check exactly what you are buying.

Buy once: durability and care

Built with hand-finished detailing (per TOV). Our advice (TOV publishes no care instructions for this item): clean the glass with a soft microfiber cloth and glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth, never straight onto the mirror (liquid that runs behind the edge can spot the silvering); dust the rope frame with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment and keep it away from steam, damp and strong direct sun; dust the wood frame with a dry or barely damp cloth and skip silicone polishes.
