Where it works best

For a room, add its length and width in feet; the total in inches is a good chandelier width (a 12 x 14 ft room takes about a 26 in fixture). Over a dining table, choose a width about 12 in narrower than the table and hang the bottom 30 to 36 in above the tabletop. In an entry, keep the bottom at least 7 ft above the floor; for a two-story foyer, center it with the upper window.

It is dry rated, so it is not for a shower area, an uncovered porch or other damp spots. Bulbs are sold separately. With an overall height of up to 62 in, it is sized for ceilings of about 9 ft and taller.
