Dart Satin White 5 to 8-Light Chandelier, 26 to 44 in, 4 Finishes, by Maxim

The Maxim Dart Satin White chandelier is a transitional fixture sized for a dining room, a living room or a bedroom. It comes in widths from 26 to 44 in, with 5 to 8 lights, in Satin Nickel, Satin Brass, Black or Natural Aged Brass. It adjusts to an overall height of up to 60.5 in on its rods or cord.

Each socket takes an E26 Medium bulb up to 60W. A 2700K to 3000K LED bulb keeps the light warm over a table; 3500K suits a kitchen work area. Satin White glass softens the light and cuts glare at eye level. Choose Satin Nickel, Satin Brass, Black or Natural Aged Brass to match hardware, faucets or cabinet pulls in the room; it suits Transitional schemes.

Where it works best

For a room, add its length and width in feet; the total in inches is a good chandelier width (a 12 x 14 ft room takes about a 26 in fixture). Over a dining table, choose a width about 12 in narrower than the table and hang the bottom 30 to 36 in above the tabletop. In a room without a table, keep the bottom at least 7 ft above the floor.

Who this is not for

It is dry rated, so it is not for a shower area, an uncovered porch or other damp spots. Bulbs are sold separately. With an overall height of up to 60.5 in, it is sized for ceilings of about 9 ft and taller.

Why we carry Maxim

Maxim matches its finishes across collections, so a chandelier, its pendants and its sconces read as one scheme. That is how we build a room around one fixture.

Care and installation

Dust with a soft, dry cloth; clean glass with a lint-free cloth and glass cleaner, with the power off. A qualified electrician should make the connection. Assembly sheets: 21286 (PDF), 21288 (PDF).
