Where it works best
Size the bar 2 to 4 in under the cabinet's interior span. Set it near the face frame rather than against the wall: that throws light across the work surface and keeps hot spots off a glossy backsplash. Across a run of cabinets, join units with CounterMax cords and connectors.
Who this is not for
It mounts under a cabinet or shelf; it is not a ceiling fixture.
Why we carry Maxim
Maxim matches its finishes across collections, so a chandelier, its pendants and its sconces read as one scheme. That is how we build a room around one fixture.
Care and installation
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. A qualified electrician should make the connection. Assembly sheet: 89893 (PDF).
