Best for
Best for beside a low lounge chair, between two chairs, or as a plant stand. Set it within easy reach of the seat, roughly level with the sofa arm (24–26") or, beside a bed, close to the mattress top (our guide).
Who this is not for
- A nightstand beside a tall bed: at 17" it sits below a typical 24–28" mattress top (our guide); look at a nightstand or a taller side table for that.
- Heavy loads: TOV rates the top for up to 25 lb, so it is a table for a lamp, a drink and a book rather than a stack of heavy objects.
- Outdoor use: this is an indoor table; TOV makes separate indoor/outdoor concrete and ceramic tables.
