Drop is a frosted glass globe topped with a small white powder-coated stainless steel cap: a perfect ball of soft light. Choose Drop 20 (8" across) for bedsides and small kitchens or Drop 40 (15.75") for dining tables and stairwells. It takes a standard E26 bulb up to 100W, so you choose the brightness and warmth.

Why we carry it

We have been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Drop is the quiet, versatile globe that works in any style of home. Innermost was founded in London in 1999 by designers Steve Jones and Russell Cameron, who started out in an old lighting factory in Wembley and went on to work with designers from around the world who had made London their home. Its pieces hang in hotels, restaurants and shops from London to Dubai. Innermost has since closed, so what we have is the remaining new stock; once a finish sells out we cannot reorder it.

Buy once: durability and care

With the power off and the glass cool, wipe with a soft cloth and a little glass cleaner sprayed on the cloth, not the fixture (our advice). Have a licensed electrician install hardwired fixtures.
