Best for

Best for patios, decks and covered outdoor living rooms. Leave about 16–18" between the seat edge and a coffee table and 30–36" for walkways around it (our advice).

Who this is not for

• Smaller rooms: the footprint is 88.2" wide by 90.3" deep, so tape it out on the floor and keep walkways clear before ordering.
• Anyone who needs a higher seat to stand up easily: the seat sits 18" off the floor.
• Homes with tight doorways, stair turns or small elevators: it arrives in 2 boxes, and the largest measures 89.3"W x 36"D x 19.5"H.
• Anyone who wants to leave it uncovered in all weather: TOV recommends covering it during bad weather or when not in use.

Buy once: durability and care

Built with performance upholstery, fabric TOV lists as easy-clean and handmade construction. TOV's care advice: blot spills right away with a clean, dry cloth (rubbing can push a stain deeper), vacuum with an upholstery attachment, fluff and rotate cushions, keep the sectional out of direct sun to limit fading, and test any cleaner on a hidden spot first. TOV also notes that, depending on the fabric, some pilling or crushing of the pile can occur over time.
