The ET2 Spartan is a compact up and down LED sconce that works indoors or out, with a wet rating and a projection of only 1.5 in from the wall. Choose a 6 in or 7.75 in body, with 990 to 1200 lumens at 3000K and 90 CRI. Both sizes run on 120-277V.
Light fans both up and down from a rounded-end aluminum body, which washes the wall above and below instead of throwing glare into the eye. It runs on 120-277V and dims with Triac or ELV at 120V. The low profile meets ADA projection limits, and the LED is rated for 25,000 hours. Architectural Bronze suits a Coastal or Transitional exterior, Black reads Modern or Industrial, and Natural Aged Brass warms a Contemporary entry or hallway.

Which size for which room
- 6 in, 990 to 1000 lumens, 6W: A good fit beside a front door, a garage side door or a narrow hallway wall. It weighs 1.8 lb and projects 1.5 in.
- 7.75 in, 1200 lumens, 7W: A larger body for a wide entry, a patio wall or a commercial corridor where the wall washes need more reach.
Where it works best
Place pairs on either side of a door at about 60 to 66 in above the floor so the up and down glow frames the entry. It also suits patio walls, stairwells, corridors and hotel exteriors. Repeat one size across a facade for a consistent rhythm. On a covered porch or beside a garage, a single 7.75 in unit can mark the door when a pair is not needed.
Who this is not for
The wet rating covers exposed locations, but the LED itself is built in and cannot be replaced. It carries an 8 in lead and needs a junction box suited to outdoor wiring. At 6 or 7.75 in it is an accent and wayfinding light, not a floodlight for a large yard.
Why we carry ET2
Few sconces cover entry, patio, stairwell and corridor with one profile, and Spartan does. Its wet rating, ADA depth and 120-277V driver keep specifiers and homeowners on the same part number.
Care and installation
Rinse off dirt and pollen with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry it, avoiding abrasive pads on the finish. ET2 recommends a qualified electrician for installation. Assembly sheets: 6 in (PDF), 7.75 in (PDF).

Frequently asked questions
How high should I mount the Spartan beside a door?
Mount it with the center about 60 to 66 in above the floor, on both sides of the door. The 1.5 in projection keeps it from catching shoulders.
Can it go in direct rain?
Yes. The Spartan carries a wet rating, so it is suited to exposed exterior walls. Seal the box edges with outdoor-rated caulk when you install it.
Does it meet ADA projection limits?
Yes, the listing marks it ADA compliant, and it projects only 1.5 in. That works for corridors and entries where wall depth is regulated.
How bright is it?
The 6 in gives 990 to 1000 lumens and the 7.75 in gives 1200 lumens, both at 3000K and 90 CRI. That is plenty for a porch or hallway wash.
Can I dim it?
Yes, with a Triac or ELV dimmer at 120V. Test the low end of the dimmer before closing the wall, since dimmers vary.
Is it suitable for commercial projects?
The 120-277V driver and cETLus listing suit commercial work. The two sizes let you repeat the same sconce on a hotel or office facade.
