The ET2 Sonata LED Wave Linear Pendant is a 59 in long Matte Black aluminum channel that curves gently at the ends and carries patterned acrylic in vertical stripes. It gives 1420 lumens of 3000K LED, dims with Triac, ELV or 0-10V, and works on 120-277V.

The patterned acrylic diffuses the LED so the light looks like soft vertical stripes along the length. The fixture is 17 in wide and 6 in tall, so it hangs low and slim over a long table or a counter run. The 120 in cord adjusts from 8.75 to 126 in overall, which handles both low and tall ceilings, and the canopy is 6 in. Black fits Modern and Industrial rooms with steel, concrete or dark wood, and it works well with a pale table.

Where it works best

Hang it centered over a rectangular dining table 6 to 8 ft long, or over a long kitchen island. It also suits conference tables, restaurant banquettes and reception desks. Repeat the black in table legs or chairs so the fixture ties to the furniture around it.

Who this is not for

Sonata is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms with showers, porches and any damp area. At 59 in long, it needs a table at least 5 ft long to look balanced, and it is not a fit for a small round table. With the LED built into the channel, a failed driver means servicing the whole fixture.

The fixture is 59 in long, so a table or island from about 72 to 96 in works best. Keep the pendant at least 12 in shorter than the table on each end.

How high should it hang?
