Reveal LED Tube Pendant, 12.25 in Two-Tone Cylinder, Brass Band, by ET2

The ET2 Reveal LED Tube Pendant is a slim 12.25 in metal cylinder that works in groups over an island, a bar or a stair, or singly beside a bed. It shines down from the base and glows behind a contrasting band, and it hangs on a 120 in cord.

The tube measures 2.75 x 2.75 in, so a cluster takes little visual space. The LED is integrated, at 6 W and 147 lumens, so this is an accent pendant that is best used in threes or more. A band of Gold or Satin Brass breaks up the finish, with a reveal of light behind it. The canopy is 6 in and overall height adjusts from 15 to 134 in, so each drop can be set to a different height for a staggered look. Black with Gold reads sharp in a Modern room with dark cabinets, while Satin Nickel with Satin Brass is softer and fits Transitional kitchens with mixed metals. Dimming is available.

Which size for which room

• Black / Gold: The Black tube with a Gold band is 2.75 x 2.75 x 12.25 in. It suits dark cabinetry, black window frames and graphic Modern kitchens, in a cluster of three or more over an island or bar.
• Satin Nickel / Satin Brass: The Satin Nickel tube with a Satin Brass band is the same 2.75 x 2.75 x 12.25 in. It fits mixed-metal Transitional kitchens, stair halls and bedside pairs where a softer contrast is wanted.

Where it works best

Reveal works best in clusters of three to seven with staggered drops over an island, a reception desk or a stairwell. A single tube is useful beside a bed or at the end of a console, where a thin vertical accent is wanted. At 147 lumens each, add recessed or under-cabinet lighting for working light.

Who this is not for

Reveal is rated for dry locations only, so avoid bathrooms with a shower, covered porches and outdoor spaces. One tube gives only 147 lumens, so it will not light a table or counter alone. The LED is integrated and not replaceable. It is a small fixture, so large rooms need many of them or another primary source.

Why we carry ET2

Reveal is a slim, well-finished tube that is easy to combine and stagger. We stock it for the two-tone metal and the light behind the band.

Care and installation

Dust the tube with a soft dry cloth and wipe away marks with a barely damp cloth. Have a qualified electrician install it, as ET2 recommends. Assembly sheet: Black / (PDF).

Frequently asked questions

How many Reveal pendants do I need over an island?

For a 6 to 8 ft island, three to five tubes spaced 12 to 18 in apart look balanced. Each gives 147 lumens, so add other light for food prep. Stagger drops for a more relaxed look.

How low can the tube hang?

Overall height adjusts from 15 to 134 in using the 120 in cord. Over an island, keep the bottom of the tubes about 30 to 36 in above the counter. For a stairwell, vary the heights.

Which finish should I choose?

Black with Gold suits dark, graphic kitchens and Modern rooms. Satin Nickel with Satin Brass is softer and works with mixed metal hardware. Match the band color to your faucet or cabinet pulls.

Is Reveal dimmable?

Yes, it is listed as dimmable. Use a compatible LED dimmer and test the low end with your electrician. The 120V driver is integrated.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

It is rated for dry locations only. Use it in a bedroom, hall, dining area or kitchen. For a bathroom, choose a damp-rated fixture.

Does the canopy work for a cluster?

Each tube has a 6 in canopy, so separate boxes or a multi-port canopy may be needed for a cluster. Check with your electrician about ceiling box locations. Plan the layout before the install.
