Latitude Edge-Lit Oval Bath Sconce, 18 to 48 in, 5 CCT, Four Finishes, by ET2

The ET2 Latitude is an edge-lit LED oval sconce in 18, 24, 30, 36 and 48 in lengths, with up to 2620 lumens at 90 CRI. A five-step switch sets the color from 2700K to 5000K, and it is ADA compliant and damp rated. Four finishes are offered.

A white acrylic diffuser lights evenly across its face, and a recessed housing behind it makes the sconce appear to float off the wall, projecting 2.5 in. It runs on 120V, dims with Triac or ELV, and mounts vertically or horizontally. The 5 in wide aluminum body comes in Black, Gold, Polished Chrome or Satin Nickel. Pick Black for a Modern or Industrial look, Gold for a Transitional room, or chrome and nickel for a Contemporary bath.

Which size for which room

• 18 in, 1050 lumens, 15W: A compact size for a powder room, a narrow wall or beside a mirror. It weighs 2.64 lb.
• 24 in, 1350 lumens, 20W: Fits above a single vanity up to about 30 in wide, or as a pair on either side of a mirror. It weighs 3.96 lb.
• 30 in, 1700 lumens, 25W: Suits a 36 in vanity or a hallway wall where one bar must carry the light. It weighs 4.84 lb.
• 36 in, 2150 lumens, 30W: A wider choice for a 48 in vanity or a stairwell wall with more height. It weighs 5.61 lb.
• 48 in, 2620 lumens, 40W: The longest, for a double vanity or a long corridor wall. Mount it with blocking, as it weighs 7.04 lb.

Where it works best

Use it above a bathroom mirror, as a pair beside a tall mirror, or along a corridor or stairwell. Choose the length from the mirror or wall width. Match the finish to your faucet and cabinet pulls. In a hallway, run a series of 36 in units at even spacing so the glow reads as a continuous wall treatment.

Who this is not for

The damp rating covers a ventilated bath but not direct spray or outdoor use. The LED is built in and cannot be replaced. The longest sizes are heavy, so confirm the wall can carry up to 7.04 lb.

Why we carry ET2

Latitude covers five lengths in four finishes with one switch-selectable color setting, which makes a project easy to specify. The floating look keeps a small bath uncluttered.

Care and installation

Wipe the acrylic face with a soft damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Have a qualified electrician wire the sconce, per ET2's guidance. Assembly sheets: 18 in (PDF), 24 in (PDF), 30 in (PDF), 36 in (PDF), 48 in (PDF).

Planning files: ET2 spec sheet for your submittal: E23421, E23422, E23424, E23423, E23426. IES file for your lighting layout: E23424.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the length?

Pick a length about two thirds of the mirror width when mounted horizontally, or a vertical pair beside it. The 24 in suits a single sink and the 48 in suits a double.

How do I change the color temperature?

A five-step switch on the housing selects 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K or 5000K. Set it before you secure the sconce.

Is it ADA compliant?

Yes. The Latitude is marked ADA compliant, and its 2.5 in projection keeps it within corridor limits for restrooms and halls.

Can I mount it either way?

Yes. It mounts vertically or horizontally, so use it as a side sconce beside a tall mirror or as a bar above a vanity.

Is it suitable for a shower area?

It is damp rated for covered, humid rooms. Keep it out of direct spray and place it above the splash zone of a shower.

Does it dim?

Yes, with Triac or ELV dimmers on 120V. Dimming works with the selected color temperature, so set the CCT first and then test the low end.
