The ET2 Highball is a slim glass cylinder pendant in 8.5 in and 12.5 in heights, made for rows above a bar, a kitchen counter, a bedside or a hotel lobby desk. Each unit has a 400 lumen integrated 3000K LED at 90 CRI and dims on Triac or ELV at 120V.

A 4.25 in wide cylinder hangs from a 4.75 in canopy on a 120 in cord, with overall heights from 11 to 130 in on the short size and 15 to 130 in on the tall one. Glass options include Translucent Frost, Clear, Amber and Graduating Smoke, and the frame comes in Black, Gunmetal or Satin Nickel. The gradient glass and mirrored housing repeat the LED along the length, so the tube glows from end to end. At only 1.5 lb each, it is easy to hang in groups, and the 15 degree slope allowance helps with a gentle pitch. Which size for which room

• 8.5 in: The shorter cylinder suits low counters, bedside walls and entries with lower ceilings, with an overall height starting at 11 in.

Who this is not for

Highball is rated Dry, so keep it out of a shower zone or a covered porch. The LED is built in, which means no bulb changes. At 400 lumens each it gives accent light, so rely on recessed or wall lights for general illumination.

Frequently asked questions

How many Highballs do I need over an island?

For an island 72 to 96 in long, three to five fixtures spaced 12 to 18 in apart work well. Vary the lengths of a few drops for a casual, layered look.

What is the difference between the sizes?

The two sizes share a 4.25 in diameter and differ in height at 8.5 and 12.5 in. The taller size starts at 15 in overall height versus 11 in for the short one.

Which glass tint should I choose?

Frost spreads light softly, Clear shows the LED detail, Amber warms the glow, and Graduating Smoke gives a darker, moody look. Pick amber or smoke for bars and clear or frost for kitchens.

Does it dim?

It dims on Triac or ELV at 120V. Choose a dimmer made for LED loads, and test the low end with all the pendants on the same circuit.

Can it hang on a slope?

The record lists a 15 degree slope allowance for the canopy. On a steeper pitch, ask your electrician about a slope-compatible canopy before you hang a row.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Only in a dry bath area away from the shower, since the rating is Dry. Keep it out of steam, splash and covered porches.
