The ET2 Groove is an aluminum LED ring pendant in 24, 60 and 72 in rings and a 4-tier stack, for a dining table, an open living room, a lobby or an office atrium. A switch gives five color temperatures from 2700K to 5000K, and the fixtures dim.

The ring is formed from aluminum channel with a recessed LED downlight and a slim 1.25 in profile. The 60 in gives 4,500 lumens, the 72 in gives 5,000 lumens, and the 4-tier gives 7,000 lumens at 5.8 lb. Overall height runs from 15 in (60 in), 20 in (72 in) or 45 in (4-tier) up to 123.5 in on a 120 in cord. Matte Black fits Industrial and Modern rooms, Brushed Aluminum fits Scandinavian offices, and Gold fits Contemporary rooms with brass and warm woods.

Where it works best

For a small round table, see the 24, 32 and 40 in Groove rings. Hang the 60 or 72 in over a large seating group or a communal table, and the 4-tier in a high entry. Select the color temperature after installing, with 2700K for homes and 4000K or higher for offices. Rings pair well with recessed lights around the edges.

Who this is not for

Groove is for dry locations, so keep it out of showers and covered outdoor spaces. The large rings need clear space around them, so they are not for small or crowded rooms. The LED is integrated, and the fixture is serviced as a unit.

Care and installation

How do I select the color temperature?

A switch gives five settings from 2700K to 5000K. Set it after the ring is hung and check it against your walls and finishes.

Which size should I choose?

Use the 60 or 72 in for large rooms or communal tables, and the 4-tier for a tall entry. Keep the ring about two thirds the width of a table.

Does it dim?

It dims on 3-in-1 (Triac, ELV, 0-10V) or Triac CL, depending on the version. Check the version you order against your control.

How high does it hang?

Overall height starts at 15 in (60 in), 20 in (72 in) or 45 in (4-tier) and reaches 123.5 in on the 120 in cord. Over a table, keep the bottom 30 to 36 in above the surface.

Is it heavy?

The rings weigh 1.5 to 9.2 lb and the 4-tier 5.8 lb, so they are light for their size. A standard rated box is usually enough.

Can it go in a bathroom?

A dry bath zone is the limit here, because the rating is Dry. Steam from a shower, tub or hot-water vent is not suitable for the ring.
