The ET2 Cortex LED Ribbed Glass Pendant comes in 10 in and 14 in lengths, in Black or Natural Aged Brass, so you can match a slim pendant to an island, a dining table or a stair. It uses integrated 3000K LED with 90 CRI and 3-in-1 dimming for Triac, ELV or 0-10V, and it works on 120-277V.

Light comes from a central opal acrylic diffuser inside a cavity of thin ribbed glass, and an extra downlight is recessed in the housing to push light onto the surface below. The fixture is only 1.5 in wide, so it adds vertical interest without crowding a room. The 120 in cord sets the drop, and overall height runs 13 to 137.25 in. Black looks sharp in Modern and Scandinavian rooms, while Natural Aged Brass warms Transitional and Mid-Century schemes.

Which size for which room

• 10 in: At 10.75 in tall and 450 lumens, it suits a bedside, a narrow console or a tight stair where a smaller fixture keeps proportions in check.
• 14 in: At 14.5 in tall and 600 lumens, it suits a kitchen island, a bar or a dining table where a longer glass profile and more light are needed.

Where it works best

Hang a trio of the 14 in over an island, or alternate 10 and 14 in at different drops over a dining table for a layered row. In a bedroom, use one on each side of the bed in place of table lamps. The 120-277V range also makes it a fit for hospitality and office work.

Who this is not for

Cortex is rated for dry locations only, so it is not for bathrooms with showers or any outdoor space. The LED is built in and cannot be replaced, so plan for the fixture rather than the bulb. Output is 450 or 600 lumens per fixture, so add other sources if the pendants are meant to light a work surface by themselves.

How many Cortex pendants do I need over an island?

For a 6 to 7 ft island, three of the 14 in spaced about 24 in apart is a common layout. Hang the bottom of the glass 30 to 36 in above the counter.

Which dimmers work with Cortex?

It has 3-in-1 dimming, so it works with Triac, ELV or 0-10V controls. Choose one type and have your electrician match the dimmer to the driver.

Is the light bulb replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated and rated for 50000 hours. There is no bulb to buy, so the fixture should be planned as a lasting installation.

How far can I lower the pendant?

The cord is 120 in and the overall height adjusts from 13 to 137.25 in depending on size. That covers low counters and high or open ceilings.

Can I use it in a commercial space?
