Chimes WiZ works best centered over a table of 60 in or longer, or over a wide island where its ring shape stands in for two or three smaller pendants. Because it is smart-controlled, it also suits offices and meeting rooms that need a daylight setting in the morning and a warmer one later. Pair it with wall lights so the ring does not carry the whole room.

Who this is not for

It is rated for dry locations only, so keep it out of bathrooms and outdoor spaces. At 28 lb it needs a ceiling box and support that are rated for the load, so it is not for lightweight or suspended ceilings without reinforcement. Color and dimming control requires a WiZ compatible device or app, so a standard wall dimmer is not the intended control.
