The ET2 Bookkeeper LED Picture Light uses a curved metal panel to aim light onto a portrait, a vanity mirror or a bookshelf, in 20 or 30 in. It is damp rated for covered, humid rooms, runs on 120-277V and dims on Triac, ELV or 0-10V, with 90 CRI at 3000K.

The curved panel directs the light precisely where it is wanted, so the beam falls on the subject and not on the ceiling. It projects 6 in, and the horizontal backplate is a dual-mount junction box that fits a horizontally installed single-gang box or a 3-0 or 4-0 box, with the cover plate included. Output is 930 lumens on the 20 in and 1,460 lumens on the 30 in, at 90 CRI and 3000K. The damp rating means it can serve as a vanity light over a bathroom mirror in a covered, humid room. Black is stark and graphic, Polished Chrome suits a bath with chrome faucets, and Natural Aged Brass warms a library or a Transitional hall.

Which size for which room

• 20 in: The 20 in light is 20.25 in long, with 930 lumens at 17 W and 2.71 lb. It fits above a mirror up to about 30 in wide, a small portrait or a single shelf.

Bookkeeper works best where light has to go to a specific place: above a bathroom mirror, over a portrait in a hallway or along a shelf in a study. Because it is directional and damp rated, it covers both art and vanity roles with one look. Match its metal finish to the faucet or cabinet pulls nearby.

Who this is not for

It is damp rated, which covers humid, covered rooms such as a bathroom, but it is not for direct rain or exposed outdoor walls. The LED cannot be swapped out. It is a directional fixture, so it will not give general room light. It is horizontal only, so plan the mounting orientation.

Can I use Bookkeeper over a bathroom mirror?

Yes, it is damp rated, so it can be used over a mirror in a covered, humid room. Keep it out of direct water spray. Mount it centered above the mirror.

What size do I need for a 36 in vanity?

The 30 in light covers most of a 36 in mirror, which gives even light across the face. The 20 in suits mirrors up to about 30 in. Mount either at the top of the frame.

How far does it project?

It projects 6 in from the wall. That is enough to aim light down a frame or mirror without a large reach. Check clearance for tall frames.

What dimming options does it have?

It dims on Triac, ELV or 0-10V, so it works with most home and project control systems. Use a compatible LED dimmer. Test at low levels.

How is it mounted?

It mounts on a horizontally installed single-gang junction box or a standard 3-0 or 4-0 box, and a cover plate is included. Your electrician can place it. Keep the box level.
