Thalictrum Woven Natural Fiber Basket with Handles and White Stripes

A roomy woven basket with loop handles stores throws and pillows in plain sight and adds natural texture to a room.

Thalictrum is a round woven basket in natural jute with two sturdy loop handles at the top and bands of pale, lighter yarn woven through the body. Park it next to a sofa for throws, beside a fireplace for kindling, or in a bedroom corner for extra pillows.

The wide mouth makes it easy to toss blankets in and pull them out, and the handles let you carry it from room to room. The two-tone weave adds texture, and the natural color works with nearly any rug, wood floor or wall.

Planning notes

Choose a spot with room for the handles to be reached, and leave a few inches from the wall so the weave is visible. Natural fiber suits Coastal, Scandinavian and Rustic rooms, and warms up white or gray schemes.

Fill it with chunky knit throws or a few cushions so it looks full, and pair it with a plant or a lamp to build a corner.

Who this is not for

• Not for outdoor use: we recommend it for indoor rooms.
• Not waterproof: keep it away from damp floors.
• Not for very heavy loads, which can stress the handles.

Care

Shake out dust and spot clean with a dry brush or slightly damp cloth. Keep dry and away from direct heat.
