Scabious Geometric Mango Wood Frame for 5x7 Photo

Frame a 5x7 photo in a diamond-pattern wood frame that brings a boho accent to a shelf.

Scabious is a mango wood frame for a 5 by 7 inch photo, with a geometric diamond pattern in white and natural wood. The Southwest-inspired border adds pattern to a bookshelf, a nightstand or a boutique display.

The frame measures 8.5 inches wide and 11 inches tall, so it has presence next to a lamp. Pair it with the larger Scabious frame for 8.5x11 photos to build a set. The diamond border is bold, so it works well with a simple portrait. The pattern adds energy to a quiet shelf, so it works well beside solid ceramics, books and a simple plant.

Planning notes

Use solid-color photos or black and white prints so the pattern stays the focus. Pair it with the larger Scabious frame at different heights.

The white and natural tones go with jute, linen and rattan in a boho or coastal scheme. Place it at the front of a shelf with the larger Scabious frame behind it. Choose a neutral print and a cream mat so the pattern stays the focus. The warm natural tones in the pattern pick up wood furniture, while the white keeps it from feeling heavy. Use a black and white print to let the border lead, or a warm sepia photo to blend with it.

Who this is not for

• Not for outdoor use: we recommend it for indoor rooms.
• Not for wet areas: avoid humidity and splashes.
• Not for photos larger than 5x7.

Care

Dust with a dry soft cloth. Avoid water and cleaners that could lift the finish. Avoid damp areas, where moisture can affect the wood. Keep it out of direct sun to protect the tone of the natural wood.
