Parrotia is a narrow paddle board with a warm wood handle end and a marble section running diagonally across the serving area. A twisted rope loop at the handle lets you hang it on a kitchen hook or carry it to the table.

At 6 inches wide and 15 inches long, it suits cheese, charcuterie or bread for a small gathering. The two-tone surface works for Scandinavian and Transitional tables, and it reads well on a restaurant counter or a hotel pantry. Planning notes

Plan on one board per two to four guests, and set cheese knives next to the marble end. For a bigger buffet, put the Woodruff round board in the center and the Parrotia board at the edge for bread.
