Serve appetizers or sandwiches on a wavy-edged platter with a bold orange octopus.
Goldenrod is a round platter with a gently wavy edge and a printed orange octopus on a pale blue ground. Use it for appetizers, sandwiches or fruit at a coastal table, a beach house or a seafood restaurant. The octopus has a bright orange body and curling arms against a soft blue, so the platter is a strong visual piece. The wavy edge has a little lift that keeps food from sliding off.
At 13.5 inches across and 2.5 inches tall, it fits a buffet or a family table. The bold print is the focal point, so keep the food simple and let the platter be the decoration. The wavy edge adds movement, and the octopus is the star of the platter.
