This large board brings a cheese and charcuterie spread to the table on its own stand. The acacia wood surface is printed with a hand-lettered style guide of meats, cheeses, crackers and fruit, so the board works as both a serving surface and a conversation piece at a dinner party, wine bar or tasting event.

Planning notes

Plan for about 22 by 10 inches of table space plus the handle. Keep the lettering visible by leaving space around the food rather than covering the whole face, and place small bowls of nuts or jam at one edge. A linen runner or neutral placemat sets off the dark wood tones and white print. For a hosted event, set the board at one end of the table with napkins and small plates nearby so guests can circle it. In a restaurant or tasting room, a second board in the same size lets you offer a vegetarian and a meat option side by side.
