Chervil White Marble Octagon Plate, 12 in Wide

A white marble octagon that serves cheese or fruit and also works as a display base for candles and small objects.

Use this plate on a dining table, bar or console to serve cheese or fruit or to stage candles and small objects. The marble is white with soft gray veining, and the octagon shape adds a clean geometric line.

It is 12 in across with a low profile. The shallow rim keeps items in place without making the plate look heavy. The geometric shape suggests a modern look without competing with round bowls or square boards on the same table.

Planning notes

White marble pairs with brass, wood and dark ceramics. Use it as a base under a candle trio or leave it plain with one object in the middle.

The octagon makes a good counterpoint to round bowls and rectangular boards. At a party, use it as a cheese plate in the center of the table and surround it with small bowls. In a bathroom, a single plate holds soap and a candle. The flat shape stacks well on a shelf when not in use.

Who this is not for

• Not for outdoor use: we recommend it for indoor rooms.
• Not for acidic foods left to sit: marble can etch.
• Not for hot pans.

Care

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry. Hand wash only. Avoid vinegar, citrus and abrasive cleaners. Dry fully before storing so water does not sit under the plate.
