Store throws, toys or laundry in a soft cotton basket with a speckled weave and rope handles.
Ceanothus is a large cotton basket with a washed white and black speckled weave and two cream rope handles. Use it in a living room for throws, in a playroom for toys, or in a bedroom or hotel suite for laundry.
At 16 inches on every side, it holds a stack of blankets or a load of pillows, and the washed finish gives it a relaxed, textured look. The rope handles make it easy to carry from room to room, and the soft sides let you fold the top down for a lower profile. The loop handles are sturdy enough to lift a filled basket, and the speckled weave hides small lint and dust.

Planning notes
Place it on a rug so it does not slide on hard floors. Fold the top down for a relaxed shape or leave it open to hold taller items.
The speckled weave pairs with rattan, light wood and white linen. Add a Metropolitan Decor Essentials jute basket nearby for a mix of textures. Use it in a living room for throws, in a bedroom for laundry or in a nursery for blankets. Fold the top down for a low look or leave it up for height.
Who this is not for
- Not for outdoor use: we recommend it for indoor rooms.
- Not for wet items: keep it dry.
- Not for heavy loads: the cotton sides are soft.
Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth and air dry. Keep it out of direct sun so the color stays even. Brush off dust with a soft brush between spot cleanings.
