A stone waste basket with curved sides turns an everyday bathroom or office necessity into part of the decor.
Callicarpa is a small waste basket cut from natural slate, with a square footprint and softly bowed sides. The sage-gray stone shows layers of green and tan, so no two baskets look alike. Use it in a bathroom beside the vanity, under a desk or in a powder room where a plastic bin would spoil the look.
It measures 7.5 in square and 9.75 in tall, a compact size that fits next to a toilet or beside a desk. The weight of the stone keeps it steady, and the open top makes it easy to use.

Planning notes
Plan for a 9 in square of floor so the basket sits clear of the wall and the vanity. Slate suits spa, modern and rustic baths, and goes with white towels, wood and brushed metal.
Coordinate it with the Callicarpa slate tissue box cover and the Callicarpa slate soap pump to build a complete bath set.
Who this is not for
- Not for outdoor use: we recommend it for indoor rooms.
- Not designed for wet waste without a liner.
- Slate can chip if dropped.
Care
Wipe the stone with a damp cloth and dry it. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners that can dull the surface.
