Four natural slate coasters protect wood and marble from glass rings and look good at a bar, a table or a tasting.
Callicarpa is a set of four square slate coasters, stacked and tied with natural twine. The dark, textured stone gives a rustic edge to a table and a clean backdrop for a wine glass or a tumbler. Use them at a home bar, a dining table, a hotel lounge or a tasting room to keep drinks off wood and stone surfaces.
Each coaster is about 4.25 in square, a size that holds a standard wine glass or tumbler. The slate has natural variation, so edges and texture differ slightly between pieces.

Planning notes
Keep the set in a small dish or on a tray at the bar so guests can pick one up. Dark slate goes with wood, leather and iron and is clean against white tablecloths.
A slate coaster can also hold a candle or a small plant, so you can use a spare set for decor.
Who this is not for
- Not for outdoor use: we recommend it for indoor rooms.
- Not for hot pots or pans.
- Slate can chip at the corners if dropped.
Care
Wipe clean; hand wash only. Dry promptly and avoid abrasive pads.
