A round marbled bowl, 12 inches across, that serves salad or fruit and looks good on the table even when empty.
For a salad that needs a bowl worth looking at, Alyssum is the answer. The marbled resin shifts from blue-gray to cream with a hint of soft peach, so it looks finished before anything goes into it.
It measures 12 in (30.5 cm) across and 3.5 in (8.9 cm) deep, a generous size for a family-style salad, a pile of fruit or a mix of snacks on game night.

Planning notes
At 12 in (30.5 cm) across it takes up real table space, so set it on a runner or tray and keep candles and a bread plate low around it. The cool blue-gray swirls suit white linen, pale oak and clear glass, and they stand out against a dark table. For a layered look, group it with a wood board or a small stack of plates.
Who this is not for
- Very hot dishes straight from the oven or stove.
- Anyone who wants a exactly matching pattern: the marbling varies from bowl to bowl.
Care
Hand wash and dry. Avoid abrasive pads, which can dull the surface.
