Alyssum Brown and White Hair-On Hide Frame for 8x10 Photo

A hair-on hide frame in brown and white that brings a natural texture to an 8x10 photo on a shelf or desk.

Use this frame on a console, shelf or desk where you want a natural, textural accent. The border is wrapped in brown and white hair-on hide, and the photo sits behind glass.

It measures 10 in by 12 in overall and holds an 8x10 print. A leather-covered easel back keeps it upright on a flat surface. The hair-on surface is soft to the touch and varies in density, so the frame feels more like a natural object than a manufactured one.

Planning notes

Each hide pattern is unique, so photos of the frame show a typical example and yours will differ slightly. Pair with cream, leather and dark wood.

For a gallery-like display, set it beside the smaller Alyssum 5x7 frame at a different height. The 10 x 12 in footprint needs a shelf at least 12 in deep once the easel is counted, so measure before you place it. On a wide console, set the frame off-center with a lamp on the other side so the hide pattern is the point of interest.

Who this is not for

• Not for outdoor use: we recommend it for indoor rooms.
• Not for wall hanging: it stands on an easel back.
• Not for damp rooms or direct sun.

Care

Brush gently with the direction of the hair. Spot clean with a barely damp cloth. Do not soak or use harsh cleaners.
