Best Rooms and Placement

Stand Nirvana beside an armchair or sofa arm, and tilt the shade toward the seat for reading. In a bedroom, it fills a corner without needing a table. At 47.2 in (120 cm), it sits lower than a standard floor lamp, which works well for rooms with lower ceilings or for pairing with low furniture. Choose a warm-white LED bulb for a welcoming glow.

Planning Notes

• Allow about 15.7 in (40 cm) of floor width for the lamp.
• Plan a nearby outlet and route the cord out of the way.
• Choose a warm-white LED bulb; bulbs are not included.

Who This Is Not For

• Outdoor spaces or damp rooms: this is an indoor lamp.
• Rooms needing strong overhead lighting: it is a reading and accent light.
• Anyone who needs a dimmer or switch details: none are listed.

Care

Our advice: wipe the metal with a dry soft cloth and dust the shade gently. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could mark the finish.
