Best Rooms and Placement

Put Mei on a nightstand, console, desk or sideboard. A pair on either side of a bed or sofa makes a balanced composition. Its 27.6 in (70 cm) height places the diffuser at about eye level when you are seated, so choose a warm-white bulb to keep the glow comfortable. The coral pairing suits color-forward rooms, and white pairings suit neutral schemes.

Planning Notes

• Check the nightstand or console depth against the Ø 7.9 in (20 cm) base.
• Position near an outlet.
• Check the bulb fitting and your supply before specifying it for a project.

Who This Is Not For

• Outdoor or damp locations: Mei is intended for indoor use.
• Reading a book in bed as the sole light: the glow is soft.
• Very low nightstands where the 27.6 in (70 cm) height may be too tall.

Care

Our advice: unplug, then wipe the porcelain with a soft damp cloth and dry it. Handle gently, as porcelain can chip.
