The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. It develops many of the brand’s home pieces, from glass and ceramics to lighting and textiles, drawing on the company’s own design know-how that goes back to 1961.

SAGA is the hurricane we pick for colorful, layered tables: mouth-blown glass with gentle color veining, in three sizes and six shades you can mix. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
