This is the Besa Lighting Zen outdoor pendant: an hourglass-shaped glass with random bubbles. The shade measures 9" across and 6.7" high, and it hangs on a 10-foot SVT-type cord with a jacket coordinated with the black finish, under a flat canopy in plated stamped steel. You trim the cord to the drop you want at installation, and the canopy installs to a standard 4-inch box and suits sloped ceilings.

Zen is a transitional design in a transparent hourglass-shaped glass with a bubble pattern blown randomly through it. The exposed light source sits inside the shade, so the bubbles catch and bend the light for a striking effect. The glass comes in Blue, Clear, Gold, Latte or Moss Bubble. Choose the LED filament version (a replaceable, dimmable LED filament lamp is included) or the incandescent version with a lamp of your choice (not included). Besa rates it for damp locations, exterior use under a covered ceiling only.

Buy once: durability and care

With the power off and the glass cool, wipe it with a soft cloth lightly misted with glass cleaner (spray the cloth, not the fixture) and dust the cord and canopy with a dry microfiber cloth (our advice). Outdoors, rinse away dust and pollen from the glass from time to time. The LED source is replaceable. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
