Besa Stilo 7 Glass Cylinder Mini Pendant, 120V Cord Hung

The compact Stilo: a 4 x 7-inch open cylinder of handcrafted glass, a shape that will not date, in six glass looks with LED or candelabra lamping.

• ✓ Handcrafted glass
• ✓ Open-ended cylinder
• ✓ 6 glass looks
• ✓ Damp rated
• ✓ UL or ETL listed
• ✓ LED option, 500 lm

Stilo 7 is the smallest of Besa Lighting’s Stilo cylinders: an open-ended glass tube 4 inches across and 7 inches high that throws light down through its open base while the glass glows around it. The 120V cord-hung version mounts to a standard ceiling box with a flat canopy and hangs from a 10-foot cord.

Carrera is clear glass rolled in fine white frit and blown with a semi-clear frosted inner layer, so it glows a soft white with an alabaster-like pattern; Opal Matte is a calm white cased glass. Cherry, Oak, Titan and Chalk add warm wood-like or cool stone-like tones, each with the fine horizontal texture you can see in the photos. The LED version includes a 5W dimmable source (500 lumens, 3000K, CRI 90+); the incandescent version takes a 40W B10 or 50W xenon candelabra bulb.

Best for

Kitchen islands and peninsulas in rows of three to five, bar counters, coffee stations, bedside drops, entries and powder rooms; the open base gives a little downlight onto the surface below. Related: Stilo 10 cylinder pendant, Camino slim pendant.

Who this is not for

• Anyone who needs strong task light from a single pendant: at 500 lumens on LED, Stilo 7 is an accent; plan several or add recessed lights.
• Anyone who prefers a closed shade that hides the bulb from below: the cylinder is open at the bottom.
• Anyone who wants a larger statement cylinder: see the taller Stilo 10.

Why we carry it

We have been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Stilo 7 gives clients the clean cylinder look in a size that fits small kitchens and tight spaces, and the wood- and stone-toned glasses make it easy to tie into cabinetry or tile. Besa Lighting pairs American design with European glass artisanship: its shades are hand-blown by skilled artisans using techniques passed down for generations, then hand-inspected at Besa’s factory in Ohio for color, pattern, thickness and size before they ship.

Buy once: durability and care

Switch off and let the glass cool, then wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth and dust the inside through the open base; for fingerprints, spray glass cleaner on the cloth, not on the fixture (our advice). The LED source is replaceable. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the Besa Stilo 7?

The glass cylinder is 4" in diameter and 7" high. It is handcrafted, so allow for slight variation.

Is the Stilo 7 open at the bottom?

Yes. It is an open-ended cylinder, so some light falls straight down onto the counter while the glass glows.

What bulb does the Stilo 7 incandescent version use?

A 40W B10 or 50W xenon bulb with a candelabra (E12) base, not included. It dims with a standard incandescent dimmer.

How bright is the Stilo 7 LED?

The included 5W LED source gives 500 lumens at 3000K with CRI 90+, is dimmable and replaceable, and is rated 30,000 hours.

What is the difference between Stilo 7 and Stilo 10?

Stilo 7 is the compact 4" x 7" cylinder on a candelabra-base socket; Stilo 10 is a taller 4" x 10" cylinder with a medium base. Choose Stilo 7 for smaller islands and tighter spaces.

Can I install the Stilo 7 in a bathroom?

Yes. It is rated for damp locations, interior use only.
