This is the cable-hung version of Besa Lighting’s Jordo, a flattened globe of handcrafted opal glass. The flattened globe is the same one Besa offers on its other mounts, 13 inches across and 10.25 inches tall, but the weight is carried by a single 10-foot aircraft-quality stainless steel cable with a 10-foot AWM power cord alongside, under a 5-inch dome canopy in plated stamped steel. It installs to a standard 4-inch box and suits sloped ceilings.

Jordo is a flattened globe of Opal Matte, a soft white cased glass with a tranquil glow and a satin-etched clear outer layer. Order the LED version (a 11W replaceable, dimmable LED source is included: 1100 lumens at 3000K, CRI 90+) or the incandescent version for a 150W A21 medium-base (E26) bulb of your choice. The photos show the Jordo glass options; on this version the shade hangs from the stainless steel cable and dome canopy described above.

Buy once: durability and care

With the power off and the shade cool, wipe the glass with a soft cloth lightly misted with glass cleaner (spray the cloth, not the fixture) and dust the cable and canopy with a dry microfiber cloth (our advice). The LED source is replaceable. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
