The Artemide Nur Pendant Light is a pendant light designed by Ernesto Gismondi in 2003. In Artemide's words: “A system for the metamorphosis of light, Nur Suspension has a sleek, contemporary dome shape that provides direct downlighting, with a sanded glass top that also allows a softer, more subtle diffused light to escape. Nur creates indirect light accompanied by a subtle "halo" effect on the ceiling.” Choose finish, size and the light source on this page.

About the designer

Ernesto Gismondi (1931–2020), an aeronautical engineer by training, founded Artemide in 1960 with Sergio Mazza and led it for six decades, turning it into one of the world's leading lighting companies. He also designed many Artemide lamps himself, and in 2018 he received a Compasso d'Oro career award.
