The Maxim Pathfinder outdoor wall light is a transitional fixture for an entry door, a garage front, a patio wall or a side gate. It is 4.5 to 12 in tall and 5 to 9 in wide, reaching 4 in from the wall, with built-in LED, in Architectural Bronze, Black, Silver or Bronze.

Built-in LED, so nothing to relamp; output is 540 to 1500 lumens at 3000K. A wet-location listing means rain and sprinkler spray will not harm it. It is Dark Sky friendly: it aims light down and keeps it out of the night sky and neighbors' windows. Scale guide for an 80 in entry door: a lone lantern should measure 20 to 27 in, or 25 to 33 percent of the door height; two flanking the door can drop to 16 to 22 in each. Put the fixture's center roughly 66 in over the threshold, a touch higher than eye level. For a garage front, use one centered between bays or a pair per door at 6 to 7 ft.

It is a hardwired fixture, so it needs an outdoor-rated junction box; it does not plug in.
