A pendant whose shade tilts, so you can aim the light at a table, a counter or a piece of art after it is hung.

We use the Nivel Pendant where the light needs to land in a specific place. The spun shade tilts 45 degrees in two directions, and the flat-panel LED inside is 555 lumens in the 15 in size or 740 in the 22 in size. Six shade colors and a black or white cord make it easy to tune the look to a kitchen, a cafe or a bedroom.

Frequently asked questions

Which size should I use over a kitchen island?

Use the 15 in (38 cm) in a row of three for a typical island, or the 22 in (56 cm) as a pair when the island is longer and you want fewer, larger shades.

How do I aim the shade?

Tilt it by hand up to 45 degrees in two directions. Set it once the fixture is hung and the dimmer is at your usual level.

What does the cord color change?

Nothing electrical. It is a visual match: Graphite (black) suits dark shades, White suits light ones.

Will it pass energy-code review on a California remodel?

Pablo lists the Nivel Pendant as California Title 20 compliant. For permitted work, show your inspector or energy consultant Pablo's spec sheet below.

How long is the warranty on the LED?

One year on the fixture and five years on the integrated LEDs, according to Pablo.

Can I mix the 15 in and 22 in in one cluster?

Yes. Mixing sizes at different drops makes a layered look. Keep the same shade color for a calm group or vary colors for a playful one.
