Piccola is as playful as it is intelligent. Its soft, pliable base is covered in supple Italian glove leather and can be tilted to any angle, while its hand-spun aluminum shade floats freely and stays level in every position. Bend it toward a book, lean it against the wall, or stand it upright. A full-range in-line rotary dimmer sets the mood.

Venezuelan-born industrial designer Pablo Pardo founded Pablo Designs in San Francisco in 1993, after a career that ran from Fisher-Price roller skates to Chrysler concept cars. His lights have won Best Lighting at ICFF, Best of Competition at NeoCon, a Red Dot and a German Design Award, and SFMOMA holds his work in its permanent collection.
