Carousel Floor stretches Pablo’s Carousel into an 18-inch column of fluted acrylic topped by a 16-inch spun steel tray. It works as a low side table beside a sofa, lounge chair or bed: the tray holds a drink, a book or your phone (two Qi phones charge wirelessly, with a USB-C port for more), while the hidden LED module glows down through the flutes and paints patterns on the floor.

Touch the tray for three light levels that warm from 2700K to 2200K as they dim. Choose a Clear or Bronze diffuser and a Black, White or Terracotta tray. Designed by the Pablo Studio in San Francisco. Carousel was named an Honoree in the Furniture & Lighting category of the 2023 Core77 Design Awards.

Venezuelan-born industrial designer Pablo Pardo founded Pablo Designs in San Francisco in 1993, after a career that ran from Fisher-Price roller skates to Chrysler concept cars. His lights have won Best Lighting at ICFF, Best of Competition at NeoCon, a Red Dot and a German Design Award, and SFMOMA holds his work in its permanent collection. It was developed in San Francisco by the Pablo Studio, the company’s in-house team of makers and inventors.
