It belongs to Davey Lighting, the marine and industrial line Original BTC acquired in 2010 to keep production in England. Davey’s roots go back to the shipyards of nineteenth-century London, and many of its lights are IP rated and still made by hand.

Our advice: switch off, then wipe with a soft dry cloth. Don’t use metal polish or abrasive cleaners on weathered, sandblasted or galvanised finishes; they are meant to keep their working character. Outdoors, an occasional rinse with fresh water helps in coastal air.
