This is the cord-hung Besa Lighting Tamburo 8, a classic open-ended cylinder of handcrafted glass. The shade measures 7.875 inches across and 9.875 inches tall, and it hangs on a 10-foot SVT-type cord whose jacket coordinates with the finish, under a flat canopy with a 5-inch decorative sleeve at the socket holder. You trim the cord to the drop you want at installation, and the canopy installs to a standard 4-inch box and suits sloped ceilings.

Tamburo is a classic open-ended cylinder of handcrafted blown glass. Opal Matte is a soft white glass with a clear outer layer that has an etched, satin finish; Chalk is a soft white opal cased glass with spiraling off-white strokes and a satin, etched outer layer. The Stone glasses (Clear Stone, Glitter Stone and the Copper, Gold and Silver Foil versions), Cherry, Oak and Titan are shown in the colors and textures of our photos. With the power off and the glass cool, wipe it with a soft cloth lightly misted with glass cleaner (spray the cloth, not the fixture) and dust the cord and canopy with a dry microfiber cloth (our advice). The LED source is replaceable. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
