This is the stem-mount version of Besa Lighting’s Stilo 18, an open cylinder of handcrafted glass. The cylinder is the same as on the cord pendant, 6.25 inches across and 17.75 inches tall, but it hangs from a plated steel stem kit: a telescoping section with up to 3 inches of adjustment plus 3", 6", 12" and 18" sections, 39 inches as standard and up to 10 feet with extra sections. A swivel at the 5-inch canopy lets the stem hang plumb under a sloped ceiling.

Opal Matte is a soft white cased glass with a satin-etched clear outer layer and an even, tranquil glow; Carrera is clear glass rolled in alabaster-like white frit and blown, so the shade shows a quiet marbled pattern and a satin-etched surface. Order the LED version (a 9W replaceable, dimmable LED source is included: 800 lumens at 3000K, CRI 90+) or the incandescent version for a 100W A19 medium-base (E26) bulb of your choice. Vaulted and sloped ceilings, long islands, restaurant and café counters, and any run of pendants that should sit at exactly the same height. The Stilo 18 itself suits kitchen islands in rows of three to five, bar and café counters, stairwells and entries where a tall, narrow glass should repeat along a line.
