This is the flush mount to choose when the ceiling has to carry the whole room. In a bedroom, a living room or a hotel guestroom, the 18-inch alabaster disc gives one broad, warm pool of light with no drop, no stem and nothing to hit your head on, so it works under 8-foot ceilings where a pendant would not. Natural alabaster is a translucent stone, so the fixture glows softly rather than shining a hard beam, and each disc shows its own veining.

Installation & sizing

The fixture mounts flat to the ceiling, so the overall drop is minimal. Have a licensed electrician hardwire it and confirm the dimmer is compatible with the integrated LED driver; mounting details are on the Visual Comfort spec sheet.
