Sean Lavin's Pylon 18-Light Linear Chandelier: eighteen tapered cylindrical pendants with domed optics on one linear canopy, 3000K at 90 CRI, in Natural Brass or Nightshade Black.

The Pylon 18 is a long, clean chandelier for a dining table, a kitchen island or the center of an open-plan room. Each pendant is a slim tapered cylinder with a domed optic that lights the space while keeping glare low. Because the canopy ships with 11 feet of cable per pendant that you cut to length on site, you can hang the pendants at one height or stagger them, and optional spacers let you create other shapes.

Natural Brass is a living finish that warms and develops a patina over time; Nightshade Black stays crisp and architectural. Both work with Modern, Scandinavian and Transitional rooms, and 120V and 277V versions suit homes and commercial projects alike.

Installation & sizing

Over a table, leave 30–36 inches between the tabletop and the bottom of the fixture, and keep the fixture narrower than the table. The pendants have quick-connect fittings, but have a licensed electrician hardwire and set the heights.

Who this is not for

• Anyone who wants a different color temperature: it comes in 3000K only.
• Anyone who wants a fixture with no installation planning: the pendant heights are cut to size on site.
