Sean Lavin's Nate 9: an outdoor wall light inspired by door hardware that casts indirect light onto the wall behind it, IP65 wet rated, 3000K at 90 CRI, in Bronze or Black.

The Nate 9 does not shine at you. Its light goes toward the backplate, so the wall itself glows and the fixture reads as a small sculptural handle on the architecture. That makes it good for patio walls, covered porches, entry niches and the sides of a front door, where you want a soft wash that shows off brick, stucco or timber instead of a bright bulb. You can mount it facing up or down to change how the light grazes the wall.

It is only 5.5 inches wide, 9.1 inches tall and 1.5 inches deep, so it suits narrow walls, and its wet listing and IP65 rating mean it can stay outdoors. It looks at home on Modern, Scandinavian and Transitional exteriors.
