The Egg Fritted takes the most recognizable NEOZ silhouette and makes it in hand-blown opal glass, veined with white frit worked into the glass while it is still molten. The frit settles into a soft, mottled pattern that is different on every lamp and comes alive when lit. Because the glass is handmade in small batches, expect slight variations in finish and shape from one lamp to the next.

Buy once: durability and care

wipe glass or resin with a soft, slightly damp cloth while the lamp is off. If you store the lamp for a while, NEOZ advises recharging it every two to three months and keeping it below 77 °F (25 °C). When the battery eventually tires (NEOZ suggests every three to five years), replace the battery, not the lamp.

The NEOZ Egg Fritted was designed by Peter Ellis. Every NEOZ lamp is drawn, engineered and hand-assembled by the company’s in-house design and engineering team in Terrey Hills, Sydney, led by founder and industrial designer Peter Ellis.
