A column of laser-cut fabric that scatters light like rays of sun.
Solis is a strikingly simple suspension lamp by Milan designer Carmine Deganello: a laser-cut, fire-retardant polyester shade, 13 inches across and 24, 48 or 72 inches tall, held in tension between two rings. Light escapes through the fine cuts to cast shimmering rays and radiating patterns across walls and ceiling.
It can hang from the ceiling or from a wall, plugs in with a full-range in-line slide dimmer, and can also be hardwired. It takes one E26 PAR30 bulb and ships flat-packed.
