The Volver Medium Pendant scales the series' etched blown glass form to dining-room dimensions — an 8-inch shade that has the presence to anchor a kitchen island, illuminate a dining table for two, or carry a bedroom ceiling solo. Kelly Wearstler's signature move with the Volver is the deliberate tension between the glass's artisanal quality and its clean, almost architectural outline: the shade flutes softly, terminates in a characteristic dimple, and reads as both craft object and design element simultaneously. It is a pendant that looks right in a contemporary kitchen and equally right in a layered, collected residential interior.

The integrated LED runs at 2700K and 90 CRI, producing warm, accurate light that flatters food, faces, and surfaces in equal measure. The fixture is damp-rated for use in kitchens, bathrooms, and covered outdoor applications, and is dimmable via ELV and TRIAC systems. ADA compliant dimensions make it appropriate for hospitality and commercial applications where wall-projection limits apply.

Available in Bronze and Hand Rubbed Antique Brass. The two finishes offer meaningfully different design registers — Bronze is cooler and more architectural; Hand Rubbed Antique Brass is warmer and more collected-feeling, and will continue to develop character over time as a living finish.

What is the recommended hanging height over a dining table or island?
For dining or kitchen island use, aim for the bottom of the shade to sit 30–36 inches above the surface. The Volver Medium's 13-inch overall height (stem included) means ceilings of 9 feet and above give the best visual proportion.

Can the Volver Medium be used in a bathroom?
Yes — it is damp-rated, making it suitable for bathroom applications outside of direct water spray zones. It is not wet-rated for in-shower installation.
