The Trave 36 Picture Light is Mick De Giulio's full-scale art lighting piece — a 36-inch horizontal arm that covers paintings, photography, and framed works up to approximately 48 inches wide with warm, even, high-quality LED illumination. At 36 inches the Trave reads as a proportionally considered addition to a significant artwork: the arm is long enough to cover the work from edge to edge, the output is controlled enough to avoid hot spots and spill, and the hardware is refined enough to complement rather than compete with the frame and the art below it. In Natural Brass or Nightshade Black, it functions as both a lighting tool and a design element — visible above the frame as a deliberately chosen object rather than a utility afterthought.

How high above the frame should the picture light be mounted?
Mount the fixture so the arm extends from the wall 2–4 inches above the top of the frame, aimed downward at approximately a 30-degree angle to the artwork surface.
