The Punto 38 Wall Sconce is the largest and most commanding fixture in Kelly Wearstler's Punto disc series — a 38-inch circular form that operates fully at the scale of grand architecture. At this size the Punto is no longer a wall fixture in the ordinary sense; it is a wall element, a disc of warm light that defines the surface it occupies as decisively as a piece of art or a significant stone panel. The indirect upward LED wash covers an extraordinary arc of wall and ceiling, and in double-height spaces, hotel lobbies, and monumental residential entries, the quality of ambient illumination it produces is simply not achievable with anything smaller. The Punto 38 is the fixture for spaces that have been designed to be grand and need lighting that responds to that ambition without competing with it.

What spaces are appropriate for the Punto 38?
Double-height residential entries and living rooms with ceilings 12 feet or higher, hotel lobbies, grand commercial corridors, and any space where architectural scale demands a fixture that responds in kind. For ceilings under 10 feet, the Punto 30 or smaller is more appropriate.

How much wall clearance does a 38-inch fixture need?
Plan for at least 24 inches of clear wall space on each side of the disc — a total wall width of at least 7 feet for a single fixture centered on the wall. For narrower walls, the Punto 30 or 22 is the right size.

Is the Punto 38 suitable for hotel specification?

Can it be used outdoors?
